Uncertain if this is a network problem but since the symptoms include network lingo, I'm starting here. Last two mornings I have come to my PC and found it has recovered from an 'unexpected shutdown.' The files noted are werfault which I think is Windows reporting service sfsz.sys - Netgear SC101 NAS hsxhwcd2.sys which has something to do with Norton NIS also noted in the error popup is IP address 192.168.1.53 According to the router web page and to Norton, I have no device with the IP 192.168.1.53 Tried to ping the IP and get reply from 192.168.1.78 Destination host unreachable reply from 192.168.1.43 Destination host unreachable reply from 192.168.1.78 Destination host unreachable reply from 192.168.1.78 Destination host unreachable '78' is my PC on a wired network '43' is my PC on a wireless network Is this network-related? How do I resolve the daily 'unexpected shutdowns?' |
