Default Connecting my 360 to my Laptop's network connection- Shared tab is missing

Okay, so when I lived at my parents place this summer, this worked for
me. I connected my simple ethernet cord from my laptop and put it in my
360's port or whatever. I then enabled ICS. Bam. Simple and efficient. I
enjoyed gaming from my room without having to run a long ass cable. Now
I'm living in an apartment and me and the guy that lives under me share
our internet. He's given me the okay to do this also, so I just wanna do
it. But now when I go to manage my network connections, my wireless
connection doesn't even have a Shared tag anymore when I go to it's
properties. I am getting frusterated. Bridging the connection to my LAN
doesn't work either, as I've tried it. It worked at home, but it aint
workin now either.

Okay...so what do ya'll think is the problem here? And if theres a way
around it, can you just help me and tell me how exactly to do it? I'm
just ****ed that something that was so easy to do last time has turned
so frusterating.

Here's all my info via ipconfig

You need to have a crossover cable for it to work when you bridge your
connections.

Well, I know it's a standard cat 5 cable. or at least i'm pretty sure.
I found it around my parents house, and I doubt they have any crossover
cables just laying around. But it worked when I bridged the connection
before, I am fairly sure. Or maybe not. But how can i just get the ICS
to work again then? Im not down for spending money on a crossover cable.
haha
