I have two accounts setup on my laptop, one for myself which is the
admin account and another for my wife. My laptop can connect to my router without any issues and the signal strenths are strong, but the problem I'm having is that, for some reason when my laptop's connected using my account, the internet download speed is satisfactory. But when my laptop's connected to using my wife's account, for some reason the speed gets so slow that most of the time it takes a long time to even load webpages, let alone being able to stream videos and etc. I'm using WPA-Personal/AES encryption between my laptop and my router. I was wondering if someone can suggest some settings or configurations I can check to see if something can be causing such a difference in the internet speed between the two accounts? I don't think this is a hardware issue between the laptop and the router. Thanks for your time and courtesy. |
