You have to go into your Bios/Setup at power on, and set your Boot Menu so
that the DVD drive boots 1st in the Boot Order.

Then reboot with the Vista DVD in the DVD drive.

Hi flyerphan,

From boot ensure that your computer can boot from DVD (bios)
From XP go to computer Right click on your DVD symbol select open and
click on setup.exe
