outlook sending
I keep getting O x 800CCCOF
i can recieve mail via outlook but not send. I can also recieve web pages. i am with www.mysoul.com and the lady dosnt seem to be able figure out how to fix it. web mail is good i can send and recieve there

If you can receive and not send then most likely you are not logged on to
the provider you are trying to send from, For example you are logged on to Cox.net and are trying to send from a MindSpring.com. So check your account's outgoing server setting. wrote in message ... Hi--
Another very frequent cause of this error is an antivirus program or an internet security program. We've seen a lot of this on the newsgroups and forums over the years for example with Norton products with OE, Winmail, and Outlook send and receive problems. They are easily fixed by going into the particular AV or internet security program and setting them not to check the email client that you are having a problem with. The checking is mostly marketing tool. You can set the security of Outlook whatever version to easily do what the AV or internet security software is doing. This may not be your problem, but it is a high percentage cause of that error with send/receive problems in Outlook and MSFT's other email clients. Good luck, CH wrote in message ... You are with www.soul.com.au; not www.soul.com
