Default Memory usage

I have 2gig of ram but the computer only uses 1.05 at the max.
Gateway GT5414E
AMD 64x2 4600+

How can I get it to use 2gig.


Some of your installed RAM is used for system purposes... whatever is
left is fully used by Windows. The only way you can get it to use
more, is to install more.
