Default No internet gateway.

I have an issue with a system not pulling an internet gateway. It pulls the
IP but no gateway. Ive have the internet portion checked out several times,
even plugging in a notebook directly. It just seems that the Vista system
will not pull a gateway address from the provider. Any suggestions?

It could be incompatible issue. Can you IP and gateway manually?

Its a direct connect to the cable modem. It worked fine for several months
until the restart. I did find this..... same symptoms, not quite the same as
hybernation....

Is there anyway I can download the hotfix to a usb, since the computer in
question has no access?

Sure, you can download to a USB and then install it in the premedical
computer.
