Continuous System RESTART
Hey there everyone, sorry if this question has been asked before. I am a new vista ultimate 64 bit user. I have just obtained a new system and was running vista ultimate 64 on it just fine. I noticed that my cpu cooler fan was not spinning properly. I also noticed that my computer would crash randomly and tell me that there was a problem with the hardware. A friend reccommended that I reinstall the OS and I did just that. Upon reinstalling the OS, I like to download and install all of the updates. After the updates are done installing I try to restart the computer but when it reboots, it says there is a problem, and asks for me to insert the installation cd to repair the computer. I have done this MULTIPLE times and this is becoming very VERY frustrating. The computer will run just fine if I dont run any of the windows updates on it. I am technologically inept so I am sorry in advance if this is an easy fix. I hope that someone can help me take care of this problem as it is REALLY starting to **** me off haha. Thanks a lot -- rashid |
