Windows Boot Manager & address bar problem occured at the same time
Hi! 2 days ago something happened to my computer and since then 2 problems are constantly occurring: - Every time I turn on my computer, Windows Boot Manager asks me to choose an operating system to start. There is only one option to choose from – Microsoft Windows Vista, which is the only OS on my computer. I don't really know if this has any role at these Vista-problems (my knowledge about computers is really really limited), but I did boot Linux from CD several times before. - After choosing Vista, everything loads normally, but when I open Internet Explorer or a window of any directory, the address bar keeps popping up really fast (several times a second!). It stops when I press Enter and then I can work on computer all day without 'address bar-problem'. I scanned my computer for viruses with NOD32 (the results say there shouldn't be any infection) and ran Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool as it was suggested on one of the forums (no error was found). Can someone help me, please? Thanks in advance. -- Lati |
