Default can share one file but not another

i have a desktop running xp pro sp3 and a laptop running vista, i have two
user accounts on both machines. i can see and access one folder on xp machine
under acct. 1 from vista but can't access a shared folder on xp under acct
2 . vista gives the error the folder is accessible but you dont have
permission. i compared the two folders setting and they are the same. neither
asks for user name or password. i also run norton 360. all sharing is enabled
there. why one but not the other. i am assuming something with the user
accounts.
thanks

I would check the permissions in the Security Tab. Or create same the user
name on both computers. This search result may help too.

troubleshooting is not accessible errorTroubleshooting "... is not
accessible" error step by step. When try to access a remote computer, you
may receive the following error messages: ...

Hello,

If you haven't already, make sure Norton 360 is properly configured for the
network.
