Default destinations.msi

when starting windows vista i get window message, destinations.msi file not
found.
could someone please let me know how to correct this problem?

Hewlett Packard software is the cause of this bug and the missing
destinations.msi can be found on the install CD for the printer under
setup. Right click and select repair. However, if you have updated or
installed via download, that will not work. There is a patch available
issued on 4/2009 (for my printer series, the C6100) from HP Suppport
titled. "Critical update to enhance reliability of network and USB
connectivity and improove system responsivness while printing". I know
this is not obviously related to the destination.msi problem but HP's
description of the download says. "Corrects an issue that causes... the
USB connected printer to repeatedly attempt to reinstall..."

Installing the update fixed my destinations.msi bug.
