Question: Was this any help to anyone?

- Yes
- No
------------------------------------------------------------------------

I opted to change Tax Software providers as the greed from one in
doubling cost for the 2008 year finally got to me.

The new provider's product would not even install on my Vista 64
machine. This EVGA 780i/Q6600/4gig-sli mem/dual EVGA 8800 GT machine
has a pair of WD SE16 640Gig drives-one for programs and one for data.
I also have a pair of the same HD's in an eSata backup box enabled by
Sata-to-eSata bracket connection to the MB. All of that runs fine.

I dropped a Seagate 7200.11 500Gig drive in yesterday and installed my
Vista 32 edition and the tax software. I run OSL2000 as the boot
manager (another story).

The Vista 64 machine sees the 32-bit version just fine but it does not
seem to go the other way. That's when I noticed when right-clicking the
-64 drives that there is absolutely no share options on them at all!
This hasn't seemed to be an issue but I really don't get it.

Anyone else have this issue?

thx

Jeff Lynch
