Disabling all security in IE 7
[Forwarded to Vista Security newsgroup via crosspost for additional
discussion] Surgery wrote: Ah, sorry. I'm Windows Vista Home SP1. The test is some javascript that uses active x controls and xml and will be done locally, not online. I am using ZoneAlarm with an up-to-date subscription. Thanks. "PA Bear [MS MVP]" wrote: Please state your full Windows version (e.g., WinXP SP3; Vista SP1) when posting to this newsgroup. What anti-virus application is installed and is the subscription current? What are you going to test? Are you going to do this testing online? Surgery wrote: I need to disable all the security settings in IE 7 to do some testing, particularly the active control restrictions. I've gone through the security settings and enabled everything I saw related to ActiveX and it still asks me to enable active controls manually when I run the file, which is causing all kinds of headache. Thanks. |
