Default IRQARB error

Vista Home Premium
recently, my PC has begun freezing, forcing reboot.
A few errors appear in Event Log unfailingly. One of these is
Event Error 6 - IRQARB: ACPI BIOS does not contain an IRQ for the device
in PCI slot 0, function 0.
I have done some research and found places suggesting I check the noted
PCI slot. Problem - I have no idea what 'PCI slot 0' is. How do I find
it and how do I check it?

Default IRQARB error

This is an interesting one -

PCI slot 0 is typically the PCI slot closest to the CPU - though this can be
a problem if there are onboard devices (like onboard LAN/Audio/Video) that
are wired in before the physical PCI slot.

To start, you should open your computer case and reseat all add in cards to
seee if this fixes the issue. I doubt it will though.

I would then try the following actions:

+ Check with the PC manufacturer for an updated BIOS
+ Check for driver updates from your PC manufacturer
+ Remove any non-critical PCI devices. If issue disappears, add devices
back in until you hit the same problem again
+ Make sure your machine is not overheating (fans are not clogged, dust
removed, etc).

Do you have any idea on what may have changed on your machine and caused
this? Are you running antivirus software?
