Default Print sharing from Vista 64 using an HP printer shared on XP32

HI all,
Simple question I hope there is an easy answer to..

I have a new Vista 64 and through my network I want to use the HP
printer that is connect and shared from my XP 32 machine.

I can't connect to the printer by "adding a printer" from the Vista
machine? Drivers? Do you know what I need and where to get the drivers?

Thanks
Have a great Christmas Holiday!
John

I got mine to work like this:
control panel
printers..
add a printer...
**(if you can see your networked printer in "Add a network, wireless or
Bluetooth printer" do this
add a local printer...
turn on use existing port radio button...
...find your networed printer in the pull-down list
then you find your printer by supplier then model and this sets up your
driver loads
when you get to send a test print, and you print the test page AND
you get one, you are in business!
cheers,
john
