You will not believe how simple the solution is. The problem was finding it. ![]() ![]() Wow! These very groups were created to help one another, not hold information hostage. GP No hostages here just wanted to know it people really replied to these things. Solution: Using the Vpn connect to your network, Once connected open windows explore and right click on computer. Then Click on Add a network location. Click next. Click on choose a custom network location, click next. Enter the location of the folder on the network that you need access to. click next. Enter your user name and password. If ask for. (not needed if you are doing this for other folders) Click next. Enter a name for this location or use default. Click next. click finish. Then in widows explorer click on computer you should see the network location you just created. You will have to do this for each root folder location you have access to on the vpn network. Good Luck. -- machnowski1 Posted via http://www.vistaheads.com |
