Ok Antonio. Does is come with some form of a recovery option to restore Vista back to factory defaults? Most computers will have at least this in the form of a recovery partition, recovery disks, or both. -- Brink *There are no dumb questions, just the people that do not ask them.* '*Windows 7 Forums*' (http://www.sevenforums.com/) *and* '*::Vista Forums::*' (http://www.vistax64.com) *Please post feedback to help others.* |

Hi Antonio, I had exactly the same problem with my thumbnails appearing for a second then disappearing as you and I was able to fix it by doing the following: 1) disable and re-enable thumbnails in the file folders options - Windows Explorer Organize Folders Options View Check Always show icons, never thumbnails Apply - Uncheck Always show icons, never thumbnails OK 2) flush the thumbnail cache - My Computer right-click drive C Properties Disk Cleanup Check thumbnails Ok 3) reboot the computer My thumbnails all came back immediately. -- benzzy |
