I am trying to connect to a wireless router through my laptop and the connection is Security Enabled. I know the passphrase but when it tries to connect, it will not ask me to enter the passphrase like it has in the past. It just says Unable to connect. Diagnosing the problem did not help. I did try to connect to a neighbors security enabled network and it DID ask to enter a passprase. Only My network is not asking for it. My router is a U.S. Robotics 8054 Any ideas? I'm stuck. :sa: -- vision112 |

Hi
Make sure that your SSID is you own and unique name and not the Default. Clean up the Preferred Wireless Network list, and try again. If it does not help try to change the passphrase in he Router..
