I cannot connect to the internet to sign in with my server (Softbank). I
apparently caused this problem by doing a hard shutdown when I was rushing to go somewhere. The error message I keep getting is, "DHCP client service is not running on this computer". After a suggestion, I've gone to Services at Start, "DHCP Client", clicked on Properties and it says "starting" on automatic, pressed "OK". I've rebooted after but still no connection. Help! Is this serious enough to contact a HP rep. My computer is a HP Pavilion a1744x w/AMD Athlon 64x2 dual core proc 4600+...1024 MB mem...NVIDIA Geforce 6150 le grahphics. Camote |

You may want to use cmd /sc qc command line to find out DHCP dependencies
and make sure all dependencies are running. Or this post may help.
