Default IE or Firefox won't launch

This doesn't always occur and I can't figure out what initiates the
problem. Usually in the morning when I get on my computer is when it
happens. I click on the IE or Firefox icons and it never launches the
internet session. I only get a small blue circle that is viewable in
the task bar like its waiting for the session to launch, but it never
does. I've attempted to launch them several different ways but nothing
seems to work. I have found that when I restart my computer it fixes
the problem, but is usually comes back 1-2 times a week, until I restart
again.

I've searched a lot of forums but haven't found someone with the same
issue. Please help, its driving me crazy.

How do you connect to the Internet? ISP? Method? Wired/wireless? Computer
specs? It could be hardware, software, or both. There isn't any way to tell
without more details from you.

The First Question Of Troubleshooting: If the problem is new, what changed
between the time things worked and the time they didn't?

The Second Question of Windows Troubleshooting: what is the malware/virus
status of the machine? If you think it is clean, what programs (and
versions) did you use to determine this?

Be sure the computer is clean:

Sorry, I don't see it. And here's why:

You are not posting on a real forum as you think you are and you didn't
quote any of the thread to which you are replying. You are using a web
interface that leeches Usenet posts and most of the rest of us are using
real newsreaders. We don't see what you do. If you want to participate in
Usenet, the better way is to set up a newsreader. This is very easy to do
and I'll give you information about that below. If you prefer to use a
forum, then here are two excellent ones:

http://http://computerhaven.info/

Since you are using a web interface, you may not realize that this is really
a newsgroup. You will get far more out of this resource if you learn to use
a newsreader. There are many good newsreaders for Windows, but you can use
Outlook Express (XP) or Windows Mail (Vista) since you already have it.
Here are some links to information about newsgroups:
