Default Can't get Windows Updates

I keep getting the error message "WindowsUpdate_80070490"
"WindowsUpdate_dt000" when I try to get Windows Updates. How have others
handled this problem?

Default Can't get Windows Updates

I waited a few days and didn't take any action on getting Windows
Updates. This morning, 5 days later, Windows updated. Immediately after
it successfully updated, I got the message that Windows was unable to
update. I suppose I'll just see what happens in a few more days, but I
wanted to pass on this info. I've learned some things from this
experience.
