"Set Association Control Panel"
Running Vista Ultimate, 64-bit, in Classic Mode. How do I get to the "Set Association Control Panel"? I've looked in what are, to me, all the obvious places. I suspect it is called something else. I'm looking for it because I received an attachment from a friend in an email, and the attachment is photo1.dat and when I try to open it I'm told I need to associate some hardware/software with that file. Insight appreciated. -- ---------- CWLee Former slayer of dragons; practice now limited to sacred cows. "Set Association Control Panel"
Hello CW Lee, It sounds like you are talking about Default Programs. These two tutorials should be able to help you out with using it if needed. http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/69...-programs.html and http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/83...ociations.html Shawn CWLee;940422 Wrote: Running Vista Ultimate, 64-bit, in Classic Mode.
