For some reason 2 of my 3 user accounts work fine. The account I set for
myself as administrator is very slow when surfing the web compared to the
other accounts. I do not sign on as the administrator when I use my account.
All the settings I know how to find are basicaly the same. I logoff all other
accounts. Is there a simple fix out there ? Thanks for any advice. Karl

You should not use an administrator account on a daily basis

I do not sign on as the administrator when I use my account.

That contradicts what you said above. Which is true?

I do not click on, sign in as administrator when using my account. OS is
windows vista home prem. serv. pk. 1 (32-bit). I do not recieve an error,
Looking at all 3 accounts I set up I can sign on to any of them as the
administrator, Should I take the administrator Title off the account in
question and desegnate an account by itself as for administrative use?
Thanks For your time.

I think you are confused. There are two TYPES of user account in Vista, a
Standard User account, which is the one you should be using on a daily basis
and an administrator-enabled account which you should only use for
maintenance. THEN, there is The Administrator account, which is hidden by
default.
Do I take it that you have enabled The Administrator account?
Which of the other two TYPES of account do you log in with normally?

I was using the administrator account that automatically shows up as an
account for log on, which I did set up. I have quit using that account per
your advice and opened a different account for myself. Problem solved. As far
as the hidden account, I have not even began to look for an hidden account.
Thank you very much for your time and knowledge. Karl

New one on me. I got Vista about two weeks ago and learning the ins and
outs. This was useful. I was doing everything in the admin account. I
created just a user account for now. Thanks for the info.
