A Vista Home Premium, SP1 Compaq notebook was infected by
FunWebProducts adware and it was removed using MalwareBytes and SuperAntiSpyware. Prior to removal, Scroll bars didn't work, combo-boxes (like in ALL Programs) and Drop-down boxes -- all were "unstable" or just flat didn't work. Also, backspace key was ignored. Had to use mouse to select text and over-type it.. The symptoms have not changed. Unable to run System Restore -- cannot open Accessories|System Tools because of program list troubles. This affects all windows. IE, WE, FireFox, etc. Guidance appreciated. -- BilBo |
