Strange thing happen the other day.....booted up my rig(500GB partitioned in two,1 for vista 32bit and the other for windows 7)and it would not boot up into windows 7,went into vista and my hard drive showed no other partition just the used space for vista!!! went into repair mode and it showed my vista as xxxgb and my windows 7 as 0gb. i thought of re-partitioning my drive back in to 2 but there was no free space-strange- although it was showing nearly 400gb spare. in the end i had a spare 300gb drive knocking around so i installed that and then put windows 7 and repaired that using my back up image so now i have two drives independent of each other ....job done........... but was still baffled as to why my partioned drive was gone......... any ideas..................... lee ps why when in windows 7 (on a partitioned disc )does it not show my vista drive?? -- smokin thumz |
