Default System Restore stopped daily updates

I've noticed recently that system restore has stopped creating the daily
restore points. Although, when I install software one is created. I
checked "services" and shadow copy is enabled as well as Task Scheduler.
Are there any other services that should be enabled for the system
checkpoints to be created? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Control Panel - System - System Protection

Under Automatic Settings - Check your hard drive.
Then OK

If it is checked then uncheck and then OK

Go back and re-check it, then OK.

There is a seperate forum for Windows Backup (including System Restore)
questions. I would encourage you to post your query there.
