Default Startup Problem

Computer Club

Client today has the following startup problem:

Systems in Windows Vista Home Premium for a 64 Bit computer with 4.0 Gigs
RAM

Computer is a 4 Quad

Arrow doesn't apparently work.

You cannot turn on Windows Preview(thumbnails) in the START Taskbar men
accessed by right click on taskbar and clicking on properties. It is grayed
out.

When click on quick Launch symbol just get a rectangle showing the open
programs.

Thanks

Gee you could have the most powerful processor in the world as well as a
million gigs of ram but if the video card is not powerful enough than Aero
will not work. What graphics card is in that machine?
