Default Problems with booting and activation after BSOD's

Hello,

my Vista x64 is working OK, but sometoimes I have a bluescreen, or have
to do a hard reboot (most time this is caused by afwcore.sys from the
outpost firewall).
Nevermind.
But after a BSOD or hard reboot, i experience problems in the booting
process.
*First that happens is this:*
I have a volume licence, and at booting vista thinks it isn't activated
yet, so i choose activate later (after 15 minutes or so, vista tells me
that it is now activated).
*Second:*
I have a black screen for up to 7 minutes, if you look in the
taskmanager there are random services which can't be loaded or
deactivated. (it's always the antivir scheduler from H+BEDV, sometimes
readyboost, and always some different ones)
If i kill some of thje processes which can't be loaded sometimes i get
faster to the desktop, sometimes not.
You can start new tasks from the taskmanager with no problem and they
are loaded in no time.
*Third:*
after this up to 7minutes i come to the desktop, the first thing to see
is that my background picture is missing, this is always if i experince
this problems.
the audio manager is not active, and sometimes needs more than one try
and some minutes to start again.
sometimes after the explorer.exe does not work anymore and restarts
itself, in this case also aero is turned off for some secs.
when the explorer starts again, also aero is back.

I really have no idea what is happening here, maybe you can help me.

Thank you in advance!!

Mike

Try removing the device providing your "ReadyBoost." (You don't need it.)
And then, reboot to clear the process.
If your AV is H+BEDV, it's time to update. H+BEDV became Avira in 2005.

Thanks for your reply,
i will search to deactivate the readyboost.
May avira is up to date, just my mine isn't

The problem is not caused by the readyboost, because it's not always
readyboost that is lagging.

All these phenomens just happen after a bsod, so the solution must be
anywhere else. when i close windows normally and boot again everything
works fine

First step in most troubleshooting is to turn off anything not needed and
see if the problem still exists. If not, turn them back on one at a time
until it breaks.
You don't have to disable readyboost, just remove the device (USB stick) and
reboot so that it is no longer looking for it as part of the startup.

Detailed information on the BSOD, such as the Stop Code would be very
beneficial to those who can help. It usually points to the vicinity of the
problem and based on experience, may lead us right to the issue.
