Hi, my system, after being turned off for some hours mostly frezzes while booting. I have Vista x64, Xp 32 an Win7 x64, it happens at all 3, so it just can be some hardware issue? The freezing does not always happen after the same time in booting, sometimes its earlier, sometimes later, but always after the operating system menue. I ran memory tests, but they can't find a defect, except if i take the extended test, it hangs at 27%, but you can quit it still with the escape button, so its not frozen. Maybe i should take this test over night or something. All drivers are actual, and the newest BIOS is flashed. When the computer is "warm" it never freezes, it's just when the hardware is "cold" What do you think can be this freezing? -- mechtild |

I recently had a similar issue. Even though testing of RAM did not indicate
errors, I replaced the RAM with good quality Crucial RAM and the freezing issue was resolved. http://www.crucial.com/ "mechtild" wrote in message ...
