Make sure you don't have a static IP Address set and that you have
automatically obtain ip address on.

Check your ip address Start---Type in to start search *CMD*---Type
*IPCONFIG*
Post the results.

Since the computer doesn't talk to the DHCP, I would check if there is a new
firmware for the router and a new driver for NIC. Also do you have any 3rd
party security software? Or check this search result.

Vista has 169.254.xx IPMy situation was that I was connecting ok then
suddenly Vista could not access the DHCP server in the router. Symptoms
Unidentilied network IP addres 169. ...

Ok there is the problem right there Autoconfig IPv4
address:169.254.254.203
That is an apipa address meaning your not getting an address from your
wireless router because your computer can't find dhcp. Check the cables,
try a different port.
Also you shouldn't be getting an IPV6 address, turn that feature off.

You might be able to try setting a static ip like
192.168.1.200
255.255.255.0
Default Gateway 192.168.1.1

Other than that check your dhcp server on your wireless router and make
sure dhcp is working and you don't have sticky mac protection on.
