First I had a linksys router and Media Center Extender worked grate, but the router broken, then I bought a Netgear wgr614 v.9. But since I started to used it. My Media Center does not recognize the xbox anymore. My xbox live works fine and I can see my xbox through the windos but I can't connect to Extender. what is the problem with my extender? Please someone help me, I already try everything that I found on internet. Sorry about my bad english -- raphnorac |

I just set this up last night. Go through the wireless setup on your xbox 360. In one of the screens it tells you to make sure certain ports are open. You need to go into windows firewall and add those ports to the exceptions list. Or you could shut the firewall off completely, but I wouldn't recommend that unless your just troubleshooting to see if its blocking. I am no expert though. -- president89 |
