Can't open word docs, excel or other files
When I click on a file to open on C drive (or an attachment to an email" it
says Windows can find (lists the path). Make sure you typed the name correctly then try again. If I cancel this message and double click on the file (or email attachment) again, it then opens it. I have to do this twice for every single file I want to open. Does anyone have a solution? Thanks |

Can't open word docs, excel or other files
I had the same problem. Double click on a ms word doc from within outlook or explorer and I got the cannot find file error, word would come up but no doc, double click again and it would show up. It turned out to be an addin for MS word I was using from an open source CRM called VTiger, I turned it off under options for word 2007 and the problem went away, easy to turn back on when I want to create another VTiger template. Turned it off and on and tested multiple times, same reaction. Turning it off fixed the problem. -- mja110952 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ mja110952's Profile: http://forums.techarena.in/members/154719.htm View this thread: http://forums.techarena.in/vista-fil...nt/1118060.htm http://forums.techarena.in |
