Default Cannot VPN

I have a new laptop that I am trying to use to VPN into our network. The
laptop runs Vista Business SP1. I have internet connectivity. When I try
to connect to our network via the VPN, it gives me a message saying that it
failed to connect. The option to diagnose the problem turns up nothing. In
the Event Viewer, I see that I get Event ID 1, which refers to RasSstp. I
have the same problem using a different users login credentials. Other
users on other PC's (running both XP and Vista) are able to successfully VPN
into our server. Does anyone have any ideas as to what the problem here is?

Thanks,

Keith

Default Cannot VPN

Assuming you use PPTP, open Network and Sharing Center and then Manage
Network Connections. Make sure the WAN Miniport is PPTP under Device Name.
If not, switch to PPTP.

If switch to PPTP doesn't work, you may delete it and re-create another one.
Please post back with the result.
