I have two HP laptops (a ZD8000 and a DV9000) both were customized by HP and
has BlueTooth and Wireless and came with WindowsXP. I had no problems printing to my HP Officejet 7410. Both laptop were given a clean install of Vista Ultimate (RTM). When I added a printer to each it found the 7410 using Bluetooth/wireless and loaded the software, but not the HP manager/director. When I attempted to print portrait/duplex the backside of each page is head-to-foot (upside down), but when I print landscape/duplex it prints correctly (head-to-head). I even went into the Finishing tab and tried using “flip pages up” and it doesn’t help. There’s something wrong with the driver. |

I forwarded your message to one of the HP driver developers working here at
Microsoft. He can pass it to one of his testers. -- Alan Morris Windows Printing Team Search the Microsoft Knowledge Base he http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=fh;[ln];kbhowto This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. this is a known bug that was opened in October so it did not make the bar
for Vista release. Printing: Duplex printing won't format properly on HP OfficeJet 7410 All-in-One Problem Description: Duplex printing. Does not format page correctly. Will not print in book like format, always have to flip pages and ordering is weird. -- Alan Morris Windows Printing Team Search the Microsoft Knowledge Base he http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=fh;[ln];kbhowto This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. This would be a Windows Update fix or HP will release on their site.

If they need a tester I'll be glad to do so.
