Default Sharing DVD drive between XP and Vista

I am trying to share the DVD-RW drive on my Vista machine with my other
XP machine. The sharing is happening fine (using advanced sharing in
Vista), but my XP machine doesn't seem to understand that the shared
drive is a DVD drive. Hence, I am unable to play a DVD or write out a
DVD. Can someone help?

Hi
You can Not write a DVD from one computer to the other through the Sharing
system, the writing software usually do not allow it.
You can do it if you are using remote control program rather the the
sharing file system.

Can you tell me how I can set-up a remote control program?

Hi
If your versions of Windows support Remote Desktop,
