Default The logon request failed because the trust relationship ..........

Yesterday, our client, unplugged a workstation to plug in their laptop at
another worker's desk. they then plugged the workstation back into the
ethernet - but since then the workstation has refused to login quoting the
following message -

The logon request failed because the trust relationship between this
workstation and the primary domain failed.

Anyone any clues on how we resolve this please?
