Hi, I recommend you FileZilla server (google the name). Small
footprint. Reliable. Simple. Open Source. I believe there is much
improvement with the new IIS over IIS 5.1 on XP (I haven't used it yet
on the Visa machine). But MS has never been and never will be
transparent. FileZilla has a server and a client, both work well
(free). My best advice is: first do a little reading starting from here
http://www.slacksite.com/other/ftp.html (unless you know that already)
And try a few software starting with the FileZilla server.
