Jordeo - Your problem is the following "...Autoconfiguration IPv4 Address. .
: 169.254.128.229..." - the address "169...." is assigned by Windows when DHCP (Usually a router) has not assigned an IP address (Usually "192...."). "Jordeo" wrote in message ... You aint getting DHCP by the looks of it. I'll make a guess your router distributes DHCP. In the first instance I would recommend you check the cable between your desktop and the router and also maybe worth power cycling the router. -- DC187 http://www.genericlan.net PC Spec: 2x AMD FX-74, ASUS L1N64-SLI WS, 4GB OCZ Reaper DDRII, 2x 500GB Samsung T166 SATAII, 2x BFG 8800GTX OC 768MB (SLI), Creative X-Fi Fatl1ty, Enermax Galaxy 1000W PSU, Thermaltake Armor Extreme Case |

Nope, this didn't work and plus when i have the ethernet cable plugged into my router it automatically switches it's self back on :S Also i had a look at hidden Network adapters and found all these hiding there. Is this needed? [image: http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c301/NeoMase/omg.jpg] -- Jordeo |
