I've just picked up a laptop which came preinstalled with Vista and am slowly
getting used to use it. I have a wireless network at home (the laptop, 2 desktops & network storage drive). I have a folder on the Network storage drive that I'd like to have synced with the laptop so I can work with the files while away from home, but I can't get the files to sync. What I have tried so far is this: - I've right-clicked on the network folder and checked off 'Always Avilable Online' under the Offline Files Tab. - The folder (and all its subfolders) show a little green sync symbol next to their various names. - Forgetting about automatic schedules for now, I've gone into Sync centre and tried to manually Sync. The Sync perpetually fails with about 8 conflicts and 650 errors. - The conflicts always seems to be random temp files, which I then delete - The errors are all due to: "The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process" This is strange, because I only have the Sync Centre running and all other metwork machines are off. What am I missing, how come I can't sync? |

In Addition:
- I've gone into services to ensure that the offline files service is started - The network storage is not a server or anything, it's just a hard drive in a caddy connected to my wireless router. The files on the storage drive are easily accessible across the network and the only trouble I'm having is syncing them...
