I'm having _several_ problems relating to offline files which have evolved over time. I am connecting to a SBS2003 SP2 server with a domain connected Vista Business Notebook computer. I've attempted everything on both our wireless and a wired connection. 1) My current issue is that the Server in Vista's Sync Center is showing a status of "Disconnected" even when connected to the network. I am able to browse the server directly over the network and open and close files, but because the status is disconnected, I cannot sync offline files. 2) In the past I had "Access Denied Errors", which I solved changing permissions on all of the offline files -using the notebook computer- by browsing directly to the server location. (When I create a file with another computer, I still have to go in reset the permissions using the notebook computer before I can open it on the notebook computer.) 3) Just today I've begun getting an error of 0x800710FE when attempting to delete a file in My Documents (which is on the Server and in offline mode). 4) When saving files to My Documents, I have been getting a disk quota limit reached error even though I do not have quota's enabled on either the server or the notebook. I'm guessing there is one thing that is causing all of these issues but haven't figured out what. I've removed all antivirus software and have disabled the notebook firewall. The other computers on the network are all XP and have no offline file problems. -- dhelsten ------------------------------------------------------------------------ dhelsten's Profile: http://forums.techarena.in/members/dhelsten.htm View this thread: http://forums.techarena.in/windows-v...rk/1130284.htm http://forums.techarena.in |
