Default RamBoost--testing available?

I have read the opinions on whether RamBoost actually works or not (mostly
negative). So I was wondering if there might be some site/utility/etc. that
could actually measure the effect of RamBoost on a specific system.

Thank you,
Danno

If there was, don't you think you would have run across mention of it
while you were reading those opinions?

Thank you for the very helpful reply. May others be as kind and courteous
to you as you have been to me!

My bad. As you can see from my message title I was convinced that the name
of the feature was RamBoost. Therefore, I got no useful his from Google.
When I used the correct name of the feature, readyboost, Voila! I got useful
information. Sometimes it just takes a different set of eyes to solve the
problem.

BTW, I always Google, and check the logical websites for solutions to my
problems.

Thank you,
Danno

Mr. Jarrett, apparently Mick Murphy is more knowledgeable on this subject
than you are. Perhaps you should keep that in mind when answering questions
posted in the NG.
