Default Question about Home Networking

Hi all

I have question about Home Networking. Please consider following scenario.

I have 2 notebook computers, suppose they are A (Windows Vista) which I will
use and B (Windows XP Pro) which my mum will use. I will share folder and
printer on A which B can access. The point is that I want B to access printer
without entering user and password but access shared folder acquiring user
and password. What should I do?

Thank you

Default Question about Home Networking

hi,

simple way to get around it

1. right click the printer proerties and go to the security tab and the
group everyone over there. so any one can access the printer ( Without
auth)

2. on the shared folder right click go the properties and on the
security tab make sure everone group is removed and the user account
that should have access is inserted.

hope this helps

CHeers !!
