Hi guys, I know I am not the only one having this problem and I hope there might be a solution to it. I am running Vista Business 32 bits on a Dell XPS M1330, dual core CPU and the process WmiPrvSe.exe is really slowing down my computer (slow startup and taking 15% of CPU). I have scanned my computer with several scanner (Avast, AVG,Microsoft OneCare, TrueSword) but it didn't work. I read on another post that Dell quicket might be the problem but I cannot install, re-install or uninstall it, I always have the same message "This is not a supported system". I even tried to re-install, install or uninstall it in safe mode but it didn't work. I manually removed the files and the registry keys but it is still really slow. By the way, my pc is running properly in safe mode, it is as fast as it use to be before the slowing down happened which is really frustrating !! I tried to check the Tasks, I canceled one of them but it didn't really solve my problem. I am abroad now so I can't really format my computer (I would have done that being home), so I am kind of stuck with this problem. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. Thank you !
