Hi
I have noticed that Roxio is creating extra files in my Windows backups and is giving them the name of the 'real' file followed by "%%% Roxio EMC Stream." It looks as if the extra Roxio files are all 1k files but I don't know what they are and don't think I need them as the 'real' files have been backed up in their native format by Windows e.g. Word or Excel. However I can't delete the extra files in my Windows back ups s although it looks as if they are going to be deleted they reappear. Someone said that this might be caused by RoxWatch but this is not present on my laptop, although I have found a service called Roxio Hard Drive Watcher - but this is Stopped. NB This is happening for files backed up by Windows Back Up and Restore Center. The original files on my computer don't have these extra Roxio files. It doesn't happen if I use Acroonis True Image back up software on the same laptop. Maybe the Windows Back Up software doesn't like Roxio or perhaps I need to tweak some settings? Can anybody please explain why this is happening and let me know how to stop this? Thanks John |
