Default hard drive reporting it's full and isn't

Hi, I'm hoping the someone can help as I've searched the internet. I have a
120 GB hd on my lenovo laptop with windows vista. the SW_Preload says 13.8
GB free of 104 GB.

However, when I check the size of each of my folders/files within my C
drive, it only adds up to barely 20 GB. I'm wondering what could be causing
this discrepency??

The folders for example are "users", Windows, Program Files, etc.

Thanks for any help.

Get a program called Treesize Free and it will show what is stored on your
drive.

Hi, and yes I have. I typically don't recall them taking up over 60 GB of
space. What types of things might be in these hidden files and directories
that could take so much space, and how do I go about "cleaning" them?

Enable viewing of hidden files and folders and see what you have.

Disk Cleanup: right-click the drive, it's in Properties.
