When I right-click on install files, I don't see a 'Version' tab like I used to
see with XP. Where the 'Version' file property tab in Vista? In Vista Right-Click- Properties tab offers 'General', 'Digital Signatures', 'Security' and 'Details'. The 'Details' tab does not offer the file's version. Most apps offer version info together with the software creator info in the 'Version' tab that's visible in XP. It's useful info to know when you're cleaning up stuff. But where does one find this info in Vista? Russell |

Does here..... Not with Photoshop plugins. Only with exe files and dll's and perhaps some other stuff. Is there a recommended method that software developers should use to add that info so it's visible in the 'details' panel? |
