Default Can not connect to remote computer

We recently set up a small network and I am no longer able to use the
desktop connection to log into my work computer. Does it have something
to do with the network set up?
When I log in, the remote screen comes up but it is just black and
after a few seconds it goes back to log in screen for desktop
connection.
I have average computer knowledge so please use layman's terms.
Thanks!
Shay

Hi
It can be a problem with your own system or more likely that something
change in the logon process at work.
You should start by checking with the work IT people concerning the work
logon settings.
Otherwise there is No way to know unless you provide detailed technical info
about your setup and work setup.
