I keep an empty folder on my desktop to hold files I have downloaded
until I can work on them or for temporary storage etc. With xp this
folder's toolbar had an "X" icon for deleting any highlighted files.
For some reason I can't find this in Vista.
Please help if you can.
Thanks

Hello WWP,

The X toolbar item is no longer available in Vista. Instead you will
need to either right click and click on Delete or press the "Delete" key
after highlighting the files to delete them to the Recycle Bin.

Sorry,
Shawn

Wouldn't it be simpler if you moved those files to " Draft " folder ?
