Aero is not a 'theme' so that is not where to get it back
You want 'Windows Color and Appearance' Open classic appearance properties for more color options in the appearance tab there should be a list for 'Color scheme:', windows Aero should be at the top. Yeah. My bad. But that's what I meant. My aero "color scheme" is deleted. It's not even under appearance settings. skyler -- Skyler ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Skyler's Profile: http://forums.techarena.in/members/83877.htm View this thread: http://forums.techarena.in/windows-v...ce/1144994.htm http://forums.techarena.in |

What do you mean by "theme service?" I can use all the other color schemes if that is what you mean; Windows Vista basic, windows standard, windows classic etc. Aero is just not even listed. I even tried creating another user just for the heck of it; but it didn't work either. click on start & in the start search box type in Services.msc. When you open that, search for a service by the name of themes, & make sure its status is started. If not then start it. -- tanuj_chadha Tanuj History repeats itself, first as tragedy, second as farce. - Karl Marx :geek: |
