Every time i try to start Vista it gets to the black screen with the
progression bar and Microsoft Corportion under it and it doesnt go pass
that point. I tryed to fix the startup wit the vista disk and it said
fixing boot errors but it ran for over 24 hours and didnt do anythings.

Hello,
This morning, I got a problem like you, here is the way I fixed it,
when you plug in , try to press F8, wait until the screen show the
list, just click on The Last Known Configuring, enter.
My problem has been solved and I hope you are too.
Good luck!

My problem has been solved and I hope you are too. I did not use the
recovery disk, because I do not want to install a lot of programs again.
Good luck!
